From the over 4000 different skin diseases here are named only a few common <strong>dermatoses<\/strong> that can lead to acute or chronic symptoms:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Epidermis<\/strong>: <strong>psoriasis<\/strong>, eczemas, infections (impetigo, <strong>tinea<\/strong>, zoonoses, <strong>warts<\/strong>), blistering dermatoses (pemphigus, bullous pemphigoid), rashes (<strong>exanthema<\/strong>)<br \/>\n<strong>Oil glands: acne, rosacea<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Perspiratory glands<\/strong>: acne inversa, hyperhidrosis<br \/>\n<strong>Pigment cells<\/strong> (melanocytes): moles (nevi, see also <a href=\"\/medical-services\/allergology-and-skin-testing.html?lang=en\"><strong>skin check<\/strong><\/a>), <strong>vitiligo<\/strong>, age marks (lentigo)<br \/>\n<strong>Arteries<\/strong>: chronic <strong>wounds<\/strong> (ulcerations), inflammations (<strong>vasculitis<\/strong>), oedemata<br \/>\n<strong>Fatty\/connective tissue<\/strong>: inflammations, degeneration (atrophy), eversion (hernias), autoimmune disorders (<strong>scleroderma, lupus<\/strong>)<br \/>\n<strong>Hair<\/strong>: inflammation, hair loss, <strong>excessive hair (hypertrichosis)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Defence cells<\/strong> (mastocytes, lymphocytes): hives (urticaria), <strong>hay fever (pollinosis)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Because skin reactions are limited in their kind (redness, scales, blisters, \u2026), different skin diseases can strongly resemble each other in appearance.
