[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]The skin is the human’s largest organ and contains numerous different cell and tissue types. These can become diseased due to a predisposition or external and internal disorders. To be distinguished from this are harmless disposition- or age-related skin alterations. From the over 4000 different skin diseases here are named only a few common dermatoses that can lead to acute or chronic symptoms:

Epidermis: psoriasis, eczemas, infections (impetigo, tinea, zoonoses, warts), blistering dermatoses (pemphigus, bullous pemphigoid), rashes (exanthema)

Oil glands: acne, rosacea

Perspiratory glands: acne inversa, hyperhidrosis

Pigment cells (melanocytes): moles (nevi, see also skin check), vitiligo, age marks (lentigo)

Arteries: chronic wounds (ulcerations), inflammations (vasculitis), oedemata

Fatty/connective tissue: inflammations, degeneration (atrophy), eversion (hernias), autoimmune disorders (scleroderma, lupus)

Hair: inflammation, hair loss, excessive hair (hypertrichosis)

Defence cells (mastocytes, lymphocytes): hives (urticaria), hay fever (pollinosis)

Because skin reactions are limited in their kind (redness, scales, blisters, …), different skin diseases can strongly resemble each other in appearance. Therefore, longstanding experience is required to correctly diagnose and effectively treat a disease as quickly as possible based on anamnesis, clinical picture and – where necessary – expedient laboratory tests. The specialists at DERMATOLOGIKUM BERLIN each look back upon more than 20 years of clinical and scientific experience and form a unique team with a major pool of experience.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]"AUTOIMMUNERKRANKUNGEN"[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
