Of course. Many of our patients have statutory health insurance. Every patient can make an appointment at DERMATOLOGIKUM BERLIN and receives a transparent, written bill in accordance with the medical fee schedule (GOÄ) regardless of their insurance status. DERMATOLOGIKUM BERLIN can, however, not invoice statutory health insurers. Patients with statutory insurance must therefore bear the treatment cost themselves.

For patients who had a surgical procedure at DERMATOLOGIKUM BERLIN we have an emergency telephone number which is being forwarded to one of the physicians. This telephone number is handed out to the patient in the individual case.

It is a two-minute walk from Friedrichstrasse train station to DERMATOLOGIKUM BERLIN. You can easily reach this major junction by Berlin’s public transportation system BVG.
Exit Friedrichstrasse train station using the southern exit in the direction of Boulevard Unter den Linden.
DERMATOLOGIKUM BERLIN will then come up on your left in the building “Upper Eastside Berlin” at Friedrichstrasse 89 between “Kulturkaufhaus Dussmann” and Boulevard Unter den Linden.

By car, DERMATOLOGIKUM BERLIN is easily reachable from all directions. You can park in our underground garage for free. The entry to the garage is located at Mittelstrasse 63. There you can find a doorbell with the inscription “DERMATOLOGIKUM BERLIN”. The entry to the underground garage will be opened by one of our staff upon ringing the bell.

Located at Mittelstrasse 63, you can find the entry to our underground garage with a direct access to the practice. Here, you can park for free during your treatment. The parking spaces are located to your right when accessing the first parking level and are marked “DERMATOLOGIKUM BERLIN”.
You can use the elevator to our practice on the fourth floor directly from the garage.

We are a handicapped-friendly practice. DERMATOLOGIKUM BERLIN has both a toilet for the disabled and an entrance accessible with a wheelchair. This applies to both entrances from Friedrichstrasse 89 and the entry from the underground garage.

It would be helpful, however, if you could inform the reception desk upon scheduling your appointment so that an escort from the entrance to the reception can be organised if necessary.

An appointment for a consult and examination as well as assessment of your skin using dermoscopy costs approx. 150 Euro.
Should this basic examination make additional examinations or treatment necessary, the cost will increase in accordance with the current medical fee schedule.

The staff can unfortunately not provide this service as they cannot assess which diagnostics and therapy the treating physician will in fact perform.

The physicians at DERMATOLOGIKUM BERLIN are specialist with longstanding experience who continually educate themselves further in their focus areas. All of them are specialists for dermatology and partly hold additional titles in fields like, for example, allergology or medical tumour therapy. From this stems an outstanding expertise regarding all questions related to the diagnostics and treatment of skin diseases. This applies to both medical and aesthetical problems.
